Assistant Vice President

This is a senior leadership role in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Operations , mainly for broker support, binding, and underwriting operations . The person will manage a large team (200–300 people) , working with US clients in night shifts (US hours) .Industry & ContextProperty & Casualty Insurance (P&C): Insurance that covers property (homes, cars, businesses) and liability (accidents, injuries).Brokerage & Binding:Brokerage → Working with insurance brokers who connect clients with insurers.Binding authority → Brokers/agents authorized to accept risks and issue policies on behalf of insurers.Underwriting Operations: Support in evaluating risks, processing policies, and maintaining compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Leadership – Oversee day-to-day delivery of insurance operations (policy issuance, claims support, endorsements, renewals).Team Management – Lead large operations teams (200–300 span), including managers and associates.Broker & Underwriting Support – Ensure smooth handling of broker queries, policy binding, underwriting assistance.Process Excellence – Drive SLA adherence, quality checks, and compliance with US insurance regulations.Client Engagement – Interact with US clients/brokers, manage escalations, and ensure high service delivery.Shift & Location – US shift timing, office-based role in Madurai & Noida.✅ Must-Have SkillsP&C Insurance expertise (brokerage, underwriting, operations).Operations management (large team handling, SLA governance, process improvement).Broker experience (supporting brokers and binding authority).Leadership (span of 200–300 FTE).Flexibility to work in US shifts (night shifts) .
