The Opportunity

You will contribute across the full lifecycle of transformation projects, supporting clients at various stages—from those starting their journey to those already operating advanced functions and seeking the next wave of innovation to deliver greater value.

The projects you will work on include:

- Finance Improvement: Assessing maturity in terms of people, processes, and technology.

- Finance Process Redesign: Optimizing processes and advising on suitable software solutions.

- Operating Model Design: Aligning finance functions with business strategy by identifying improvement opportunities.

- Systems Strategy: Evaluating business requirements and translating those to recommendations on business application architecture

- Systems Selection: Applying a requirements driven selection process for clients to have an unbiased process for evaluating and selecting software (mostly ERP and ERP-boundary selections)

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategize and Plan:

- Develop a customer-centric and digitally enabled finance vision, strategy, and operating model.

- Qualify transformation opportunities and create detailed roadmaps for implementation.

2. Design and Implement:

- Build finance delivery models and governance frameworks, integrating accounting policies, control requirements, and automation solutions.

- Design finance technology and data landscapes aligned with enterprise architecture.

- Enhance organizational structure, skills, and performance metrics.

3. Transition and Stabilize:

- Plan and manage training, knowledge transfer, business readiness, and post-launch support.

4. Optimize:

- Identify opportunities to improve operations using emerging technologies, and support application selection and implementation.

- Oversee the implementation of optimization initiatives and measure their impact.

5. Project Management:

- Manage project budgets, timelines, interdependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

- Facilitate issue resolution and oversee change management processes.

6. Business Development:

- Contribute to proposal development and client engagement leadership.

- Contribute to firm’s thought leadership to enhance market presence and industry recognition.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or Mathematics.

- 5+ years in a leading consulting or accounting firm in a consulting role

- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

- Proven ability to quickly establish credibility and demonstrate expertise.

- Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.

- Experience with customer experience or digital tools.

- Expertise in finance function improvement, ERP implementation, or intelligent automation.

- Experience with process mapping, business analysis, Excel modelling, requirements gathering, analysis and documentation

- Experience with systems evaluation and implementation lifecycle

- Experience with supply chain, manufacturing and distribution environments
