Registrar
Symbiosis Skills & Professional University is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Registrar
Candidate must be Ph.D. with minimum 7-8 years of teaching experience and minimum 10 years of academic administration experience at the level of Vice Principal/Principal/ Deputy Registrar/HOD.
Candidate must have proficiency in English and Marathi both.
Age on or below 55 years.
Candidate shall be responsible:
1) To provide leadership to Registrar's office and administer all functions of Registrar Office including different sections of Registrar Office viz. Statutory Compliances, Student Section, Establishment Section, Legal Section etc.
2) To organize and administer the academic and administrative functions of the university for effective and efficient functioning.
3) To arrange meetings of various statutory authorities of the university and other committees including Governing body, Board of Management, Academic Council, Board of Examination, etc. to make necessary arrangements for the conduct of meetings.
4) To make necessary compliances regarding various decisions taken by the statutory authorities of the university.
5) To conduct official correspondence with statutory and regulatory bodies along with the statutory authorities and officers of the university.
6)To update statutes, ordinances, and Regulations approved by the authorities, bodies, or committees from time to time, and make them available to all the respective members of the authorities and officers of the university.
7) To maintain the records, documents, etc. pertaining to students, staff, and University.
8) To collect and maintain records of students including registration data, merit lists, transcripts, examination results, attendance, mid-term verification, eligibility, and all other important data as required from time to time.
9) To take disciplinary action against students/ teaching/ non-teaching staff working in the University.
10) To handle RTI applications/ legal notices/ legal matters etc.
11) To represent University in court of Law, Govt. offices, regulatory & Statutory bodies.
