Responsible for:

  • Pool Performance
  • Data Management
  • Client Management


Tasks & Responsibilities:


1) Data Management

a) Procure and maintain ship’s Veslink reports

i) Liaise with vessel for maintaining error free reporting system

ii) Co-operate with vessel operations to maintain IMOS system (Forms module)

iii) Analyse the trend of errors and keep a record of number of errors addressed on weekly / monthly basis.

b) Maintain data of allied processes.


2) Performance Management

a) Analyse performance of the vessel (At Sea, Port, Heating) as per the terms on quarterly and bi-annual basis.

b) Evaluate fuel performance data with the goal of reducing fuel consumption onboard vessels and conduct root cause analysis for variance in fuel consumption if reported or beginning to trend.

c) Prepare and maintain TC vessel claim status on quarterly, half yearly and annual basis

d) Generate Emissions report at the end of each voyage


3) Admin work scope

a) Process optimization/development – help in continuous improvement in the team’s various processes

b) Maintain the performance portal and attend to customer’s query

c) Participate in the development of performance management tools

d) Conduct training of ship’s staff regarding performance analysis and Veslink reporting.


4) Process improvement & development

a) Participate in new Product and service development.

b) Explain technical insights to technical/ non-technical groups and collaborate cross functionally across time zones

c) Automate manual data processes and ensure continuous process improvement while working within the team to support the development of the next generation application/user platform.


Qualification and Experience:

  • Sailing experience as 3rd Engineer
  • Experience in similar profile for minimum 1 year will be a plus


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Pool Performance calculation
  • Basic understanding of Excel Skills
  • A team player with excellent cultural understanding and awareness
