Position Overview
As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend systems that power our generative AI products. You will work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and frontend developers to design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure backend solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art AI technologies in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems for generative AI applications.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between frontend and backend services.
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to integrate AI models into production systems.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend services.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain high code quality.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in backend development and AI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Express).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with machine learning or AI projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices and tools for automated deployment.
