Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the iOS development team in building high-quality, user-friendly mobile applications.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and release.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers, to define app features and requirements.
Design and implement application architecture, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Review and refactor code to ensure best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
Develop and enforce guidelines and best practices for the iOS development team, including code reviews and continuous integration.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, iOS SDK updates, and emerging mobile technologies.
Work closely with QA teams to ensure smooth testing and release cycles.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Monitor application performance and implement solutions to resolve any issues.
Manage app releases and updates in the App Store, adhering to the latest guidelines and requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
7+ years of experience in iOS development, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in Swift and Objective-C, with a strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, CoreData, CoreAnimation, etc.
Experience with Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration with backend services.
Proficiency in using Xcode, version control systems (Git), and debugging tools.
Knowledge of modern architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.) and design principles.
Experience in performance optimization and memory management for mobile applications.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
Experience in managing releases and App Store submission processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership abilities and experience mentoring or leading a development team.
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
