POSITION SUMMARY :

The Cybersecurity Program Manager reports directly to the Sr. Directory of Cybersecurity and is responsible for coordinating between the application security testing team and the development teams responsible for delivering security fixes and information security responsibilities. The position facilitates teams to ensure that they deliver project security objectives in a timely manner. The Cybersecurity Program Manager ensures that application security and information security processes are followed by the relevant teamsfrom inception until closure of project, ensures smooth development, supports that necessary tools are provided, coordinates security projects are included sprint planning/meetings, provides value justification of the inclusion of security objectives in projects, facilitates risk management & helps resolve impediments.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and coordinate the program structure for delivering security fixes in a timely manner within the software development lifecycle.

Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values delivery security fixes in accordance with customer expectations

Develop and deliver regular reporting to management on the status of security fixes in the development pipeline.

Identify opportunities for improving the delivery of security fixes and effectively communicate recommendations for improvement.

Guide the team in filling in the gaps in the Agile/Scrum/DevSecOps frameworks to coordinate the delivery of security fixes across delivery pipelines.

Identify issues blocking the delivery of security fixes and report the identified issues to management for resolution

Assist in educating Product Owners on the importance of delivering security fixes in a timely manner

Must be able to communicate well with technical teams and establish the value of delivering timely security fixes.

Must be able to ensure that security fixes are delivered in alignment with Agile/Scrum concepts.

Facilitates the coordination of security fixes amongst, multiple Scrum Teams, ensuring timely delivery of security fixes with quality to achieve customer satisfaction

Communicate with management, developers, product managers and technical support specialists on product security issues

Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility in relation to the delivery of security fixes.

Ensure that team are following coordinating security fixes in each sprint.Coordinate with Technical teams on activities that are specific to ZeOmega, and client security as required

Coordinate with Regulatory Compliance team in evidence support for certification, accreditations, and audits i.e. HITRUST, Health App, SOC etc.

Works closely with the inter-departmental teams to ensure work performed meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, practice or expectations relative to evaluation program quality and effectiveness, in addition to identifying areas of improvement and forecast of future program needs

Track Jira tickets to closure on the activities that involve other departments for Vulnerability Management

Provide relevant inputs to Risk Registry when a risk is identified internally or by a client

Coordinate and support with relevant information during an Incident Management process

Participate in the development of the Compliance Department's long-term and short-term goals, objectives, plans, policies and procedures. • Keep track of various activities that are run within the team and provide timely update to Management team • Coordinate responses as the single point of contact for the Cybersecurity RFP • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors. • Works with key stakeholders to understand the business needs, and creates a project management plan that aligns with the organizations strategic objectives • Oversees strategic plan, monitoring and adapting as needed • Creates project plans, project charters and project schedules • Maintains project objectives and Monitors production and quality to customers/stakeholder/sponsor standards • Communicate the Identified issues and risks by following the proper escalation channels and adhering to ERM policies. • Follows PMI principles for project reporting, status, change management, and resource allocation. • Maintains Project dashboards for current state visibility and traceability

Requirements & eligibility :

• Certified Scrum Master (preferred)

• Certified PMP (Preferred)

• Ability to develop and foster teamwork. Able to diagnose, understand, and facilitate team 3 dynamics.

• Supports decisions that have been made, even when he/she does not personally agree • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in relevant technology and industry

• Communication - Must demonstrate the ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally throughout all levels of the organization. Active listening is a critical skill for this role.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, training or coursework Required 4
  • Certification: PMP/PgMP preferred
  • Certification: CSM preferred
  • Technical Certifications - preferred

Experience:

  • 8-10 years project and program management experience, preferably in a software or health care environment. 2 years of which must be program management.
  • Experience is coordinating audits, certification and accreditations is preferred
  • Demonstrated current working knowledge of compliance standards and compliance project success.
  • Experience in corporate and/or healthcare setting requiring routine interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data, organize and write reports and organize work efficiently. - Strong team building and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
  • Healthcare system and application workflows and operations experience preferred - Experience working with sales and marketing teams is preferred
