Flexibility required for communication with U.We're hiring a Fullstack WordPress Developer to join our high-velocity web team. This role is ideal for someone who understands the full WordPress stack, thrives in repeatable build systems, and uses AI tools like Cursor to work smarter and faster—without sacrificing quality.
Spin up new WordPress sites on Flywheel using our internal templates and project workflows
● Build out full-site experiences using page builders like Spectra Pro, Elementor, or Block Editor
● Convert Figma designs into responsive, high-quality web pages
● Configure themes, menus, custom post types, and plugin setups based on project scope
● Collaborate with project managers and designers to hit scope, timelines, and client goals
● Use Cursor and other AI tools to generate PHP, JS, or CSS snippets as needed—but always review for accuracy and intent
● 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience (customizing themes, plugins, and templates)
● Hands-on experience with page builders like Spectra, Elementor, or similar
● Familiarity with Flywheel hosting, staging workflows, and WordPress migrations
● Ability to implement front-end styling with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
● Proficiency using Cursor or similar AI tools for improving dev speed (bonus if you've used it with PHP or JS)
● Experience with Astra Pro, WPForms, WP Rocket, WP Remote, and Yoast SEO
● Ability to troubleshoot plugin conflicts and performance issues
● Comfort writing or editing basic PHP for theme customization
