Please find the below Key tasks and responsibilities for the same:Key Responsibilities.Underwriting Leadership- Oversee daily operations of the underwriting team, ensuring timely and accurate decisions on loan files.- Manage underwriting for FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and jumbo loan products.- Serve as the final escalation point for complex loan scenarios and exceptions.Required Qualifications- Minimum 7 years of experience in U. S. mortgage underwriting, including 3+ years in a leadership role.- Strong command of AUS systems (DU, LP) and manual underwriting practices.- Hands-on experience with Encompass or similar LOS platforms.- Bachelors degree in finance, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
