Mining Surveyor

Designation: Assistant Manager- Mine Survey

Eligibility Criteria:Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mining Engineer/Civil Survey

Experience: 3+ years of experience, preferably in the mining sector, including:

• Taking measurements of distances and angles on a property or section of land in order to establish legal boundaries.
• Employing specialized equipment, including distance measuring wheels, GPS, and geographic information system (GIS) devices to measure boundaries and contours.
• Performing mathematical calculations to determine and confirm surveying measurements.
• Marking and delineating boundaries and reference points on a property or section of land.
• Researching and consulting historical maps and surveys, as well as legal documents, relating to the property or section of land they are measuring.
• Analyzing data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.
• Collaborating and working with project managers, construction crews, and government agencies, when necessary.
• Experience using hand surveying tools (distance measuring wheels, plumb bobs, levels) and electronic surveying tools (transit levels, GPS equipment).
• Working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Total Station, DGPS (GNSS) and GIS programs.
• Travelling to sites, as necessary.
• Mindset to solve complex problems
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple stakeholders
• Ability to deliver multiple work streams
• Work closely with HODs on daily basis for various correspondences with Government

bodies for smooth operation of project.

• Support for data collection, information and preparation of sheet (Excel, word, PPT etc.)

on day-today basis & put in front of Senior Management or different organizational bodies for update regarding current status of project.

Location: Kadipani, Chhota Udepur

Additional qualifications and skills: Candidates must be well versed with basic computer knowledge, Office Suite. The candidates should have good communication and presentation skills.
