Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to manage and enhance our organization's security posture. This role involves leveraging industry-leading tools such as SentinelOne, Security Scorecard, Netskope, and Cyble to ensure robust endpoint protection, vendor security, cloud monitoring, and threat intelligence. The ideal candidate will excel at incident detection, response, and mitigation while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Protection & Threat Mitigation
Manage and monitor endpoint security using SentinelOnes next-gen platform.
Proactively detect, investigate, and mitigate security threats to ensure the safety of organizational endpoints.
Define configure, and manage endpoint security policies for consistent protection across all devices.
Incident Detection & Response
Investigate security alerts and incidents using AI-powered detection and automated response tools.
Lead efforts to contain and resolve security breaches promptly, documenting all incidents and remediation steps.
Vendor Security & Risk Management
Perform continuous vendor risk assessments using Security Scorecard to evaluate the security posture of third-party vendors.
Analyze vendor security ratings and provide actionable insights to align vendor security practices with organizational requirements.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with procurement and vendor management teams.
Cloud Security Monitoring
Utilize Netskope to monitor cloud activity, ensuring data security and regulatory compliance.
Assess security risks posed by cloud applications and services, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
Generate audit-ready compliance reports and provide recommendations for cloud application security enhancements.
Threat Intelligence & Dark Web Monitoring
Leverage Cyble's threat intelligence platform to gather and analyze threat data, including IOCs and emerging attack tactics.
Monitor the dark web to identify leaked credentials, sensitive data, or potential threats targeting the organization.
Develop actionable threat intelligence reports and provide strategic recommendations to address identified threats.
Incident Communication & Reporting
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
Present comprehensive threat analysis and risk reports to senior leadership, IT, and security teams.
Continuous Improvement
Stay abreast of emerging security trends and vulnerabilities.
Optimize tool configurations and security policies to address evolving threats effectively.
Skills required
SentinelOne - Endpoint protection, threat mitigation, incident detection, and response.
Netskope - Cloud security monitoring and cloud application risk assessment.
Cyble - Threat intelligence gathering, dark web monitoring, and threat hunting.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, endpoint protection, vendor risk management, or cloud security monitoring.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like SentinelOne, , Netskope, Security Scorecard and Cyble. Familiarity with incident response and threat intelligence methodologies.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset for mitigating security risks.
