The role of Data Analyst will focus on leveraging SAP HANA and SQL expertise to analyze, manage, and optimize enterprise data for reporting, business intelligence, and analytics initiatives.
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, managing, and utilizing enterprise data to generate insights and support business decisions. The role requires strong expertise in SAP HANA and SQL, with exposure to data modeling concepts (not building from scratch, but leveraging them in the analyst role).
Work with SAP HANA and SQL databases to extract, analyze, and validate large datasets.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics and reporting.
Leverage data models to support reporting and analysis (secondary focus).
Create dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analysis to support business functions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems.
Partner with data engineering and modeling teams to support ongoing projects.
5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL and SAP HANA (primary).
~ Strong query optimization and data analysis skills.
~ Exposure to data modeling concepts and working with existing models (secondary).
~ Experience in BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.
