Video Streaming Engineer (AWS/OTT) Location: Remote Type: Permanent/Contract #By converging Spirituality, Mind, and Body with AI-driven personalization and rich interactivity, Platonix empowers users to join live virtual events (up to 25,000 participants), access curated content from global wellness leaders, and explore a growing marketplace for holistic services. Architect and optimize robust streaming workflows leveraging AWS Media Services (MediaLive, MediaConvert, MediaPackage, MediaStore, IVS, CloudFront) Design high-quality encoding/transcoding for VOD and live streaming Implement advanced DRM/content protection (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady) Integrate features for interactive live streaming: latency tuning, chat overlays, synchronized data feeds Monitor and troubleshoot video delivery: QoE metrics, buffering, bitrates, CDN performance Collaborate with OTT teams (web, mobile, smart TV) to ensure flawless adaptive bitrate streaming Optimize cost/quality decisions: encoding ladders, storage, CDN setup Deep hands-on expertise in AWS Media Services and OTT streaming architecture Experience with low-latency streaming: Knowledge of content security: CDN integration experience (CloudFront, Akamai, Fastly) Scripting (Python, Bash, Node.js) for automation and monitoring Background in OTT application/platform development is a strong plus Interest in digital wellbeing, healthtech, or mission-driven streaming platforms Experience deploying scalable, global multi-region workflows Passion for innovation, collaboration, and impactful user experiences Remote-first flexibility and a supportive, mindful culture Growth opportunities and competitive packages Ready to help us stream the future of global wellbeing? ch or DM us on LinkedIn
