Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Java API integrations and experience as a SAFe Practitioner. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and managing requirements for application development projects that involve Java-based API integrations. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing complex business processes, translating them into technical specifications, and facilitating communication between stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements for Java-based application development projects, with a focus on REST API integrations.
Technical & Data Analysis: Conduct thorough technical analysis to ensure that business needs are met and project outcomes align with business objectives. Analyze data and systems to support solution design.
Documentation & Specification: Translate business needs into clear, detailed technical specifications for REST API development. Create comprehensive documentation, including use cases , process flows , and technical specs for APIs using tools like Microsoft Visio.
Facilitate Workshops: Lead cross-functional workshops to align business and technical teams on project goals, technical requirements, and deliverables.
QA & UAT Support: Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to validate requirements and assist in designing test cases to ensure that the developed solution meets business needs.
Project Tracking & Communication: Track the progress of ongoing projects and provide timely updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:
SAFe Practitioner Certification and experience as a SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM).
Strong technical and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio or equivalent tools to design process flows and technical specifications.
Experience in designing specifications for REST API integrations.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst , preferably in projects focused on API development or integration.
