Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Video Editor who specializes in creating engaging short-form and long-form content for social media. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a knack for storytelling, and the technical skills to bring raw footage and graphics to life in a compelling way.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and produce high-quality video content tailored for various social media platforms (Instagram Reels, You Tube, Facebook, etc.).
Transform raw footage and graphics into engaging short-form and long-form videos that align with client branding and objectives.
Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and effects to enhance viewer engagement.
Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to brainstorm creative concepts and ensure the delivery of visually appealing content.
Ensure all videos are optimized for their respective platforms, including aspect ratios, resolutions, and file formats.
Stay updated with trends in video editing, social media content, and platform-specific algorithms.
Maintain project files and assets in an organized manner for easy future access.
Requirements
Proven experience in video editing for social media platforms, with a portfolio showcasing short-form and long-form content.
Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of motion graphics, transitions, and color grading.
Knowledge of social media trends and platform-specific video requirements.
Ability to work with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience
1-2 years of experience in video editing for social media is preferred, but exceptional freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
