Job Summary:
Seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with a deep background in the Financial Services domain to lead the design and integration of enterprise solutions aligned with our business goals. The role demands experience in Cards, Payments, Merchants, Terminals, Transaction Switch Architecture (Connex, BASE24, IST etc.), cloud technologies, and microservices integration patterns, ensuring that proposed solutions meet both the technical requirements and the overarching business strategy.
As a Solution Architect, this role’s focus will be on designing scalable, reliable, and secure solution architectures that align with business objectives, while working closely with technical architects, engineering teams, and key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. This role will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring that solutions are cost-effective, high-performing, and future-proof.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Alignment: Understand business goals and translate them into high-level solution architectural designs that align with both immediate and long-term organizational strategies.
Solution Design: Lead the design of end-to-end solutions that incorporate Connex (or similar architectures), cloud, and integration technologies, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and meet operational requirements.
Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work in tandem with Technical Architects, engineering teams, and DevOps practitioners to ensure the architectural vision is implemented successfully, balancing the needs of the business with technical constraints.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for senior business leaders and ensure that solution proposals meet both business and technical expectations.
Cloud Strategy: Good exposure of cloud strategy for critical financial applications, considering on-premises, hybrid, and public cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) as part of the modernization effort.
Medium (different team, interaction needed)
Integration with Legacy Systems: Develop strategies for integrating new solutions with legacy systems, ensuring smooth transition without disrupting business operations.
Security Governance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to the best practices in security, especially considering the regulatory environment of the financial industry.

Documentation and Best Practices: Ensure that all solution designs are fully documented and adhere to best practices in architecture governance, to support long-term scalability and adaptability.
Team Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with internal and external teams (e.g., technical architects, data architects, and DevOps teams) to ensure that solution delivery is on track and aligned with the enterprise's standards.
