About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Mobile App QA Specialist to take ownership of the quality assurance process for our Wizdom app (iOS and Android). You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and bug-free experience for our users across a range of devices. This role requires a self-starter with a strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of the mobile app testing process, from test planning and execution to bug reporting and tracking.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Perform a variety of testing types, including functional, regression, usability, compatibility, and performance testing.
Thoroughly document and report bugs with detailed steps to reproduce, prioritizing critical issues effectively.
Collaborate closely with the development team to resolve issues, provide feedback, and ensure the app's overall quality.
Test on a range of real devices (iOS and Android) and emulators to guarantee compatibility across different screen sizes, operating system versions, and hardware configurations.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA documentation and processes.
Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in mobile app testing.
Proactively identify areas for improvement in the QA process and suggest efficient testing strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
1-2 years of hands-on experience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android).
Proven experience in testing mobile applications across different devices and operating systems.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail.
