JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Senior SAP Digital Manufacturing (DMC/MII/ME) ConsultantExperience: 5+ yearsModel: Work from Office in Bangalore in BTM 2nd StageRole: FulltimeJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC), SAP MII, SAP ME, SAP UI5, and shop-floor system integration. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to global MES implementations, custom DMC extensions, POD development, PPD configurations, machine connectivity, and SAP S/4HANA integrations. This role demands strong technical capability in DMC development, custom plugin creation, real-time machine interfacing, and end-to-end MES solution delivery. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting digital manufacturing solutions across client environments.Key Responsibilities:- Implement, configure, and support SAP DMC components including DMC Execution (DMCe), DMC Insights (DMCi), and custom plugins/extensions.- Design and build custom PODs, POD plugins, Order Report dashboards, Work Center extensions, and PPD-based logic for validation, routing, and time tracking.- Develop custom APIs and services using Node.js, SAP BTP, BAS, and integrate solutions with SAP DMC and SAP S/4HANA.- Configure and manage machine connectivity using MQTT, SAP PCo, Kepware, and connect shop-floor equipment for real-time data acquisition.- Implement iFlows in SAP CPI for seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA and DMC for orders, confirmations, and master data.- Develop UI5 applications for Quality, Plant Maintenance, Work Orders, Production Reporting, and Data Collection scenarios.- Create and maintain MII transactions, schedulers, and integrations including QM BAPIs, inspection lots, and result recording logic.- Customize SAP ME workflows, routing updates, serial number alignment, LOT size updates, IDOC integrations, and XSLT enhancements.- Build dashboards, KPIs, and analytics by leveraging DMC Insights modules for real-time visibility across operations.- Configure and support manufacturing processes including Order Execution, Data Collection, Work Instructions, Quality Confirmation, and Production Reporting.- Troubleshoot production issues and support shop-floor operations with quick turnaround time.- Prepare detailed FS/TS documentation, process flows, test scenarios, and training materials.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to ensure smooth system operation and drive solution enhancements.- Lead upgrades, enhancements, and rollout activities for digital manufacturing systems across multiple plants.Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP DMC, SAP MII, SAP ME, and SAP UI5 development.- Strong expertise in custom DMC extensions, PPD configurations, POD development, CPI integrations, and machine connectivity.- Solid understanding of manufacturing execution processes, production workflows, work centers, routings, quality processes, and traceability.- Experience integrating SAP DMC and SAP MII/ME with SAP S/4HANA for orders, BOMs, routings, and confirmations.- Strong experience with SAP BTP, Node.js, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SQL, XML/JSON, jQuery, and REST/OData APIs.- Familiarity with MES architecture, cloud environments, and industrial protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, and PCo connectivity.- Strong analytical, debugging, and cross-team communication skills.- Experience with Industry 4.0, manufacturing analytics, and IoT integrations is an added advantage.- Ability to work independently, deliver high-quality outputs, and manage global stakeholder expectations.If interested, please share your updated resume on
