Our stack includes Databricks, Golang backend, and React UI.Job SummaryWe are looking for a hybrid Quality Assurance + Business Analyst professional to work closely with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to deliver high-quality software products. You will gather and translate business requirements into actionable specifications and ensure product quality through automation testing, with the ability to leverage AI- powered QA tools for efficiency. Our stack includes Databricks, Golang backend, and React UI.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness AnalysisEngage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.Translate requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.Collaborate with the development team to ensure a shared understanding of features.Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT sessions.Use Databricks knowledge to understand data workflows and business logic for betterrequirement mapping.Quality AssuranceCreate, maintain, and execute automation test scripts for frontend (React), backend APIs (Golang), and data pipelines (Databricks).Use AI-assisted QA tools to accelerate test case creation, defect prediction, and root-cause analysis.Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.Implement API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) and database validation (SQL, Spark SQL).Maintain defect logs and track resolution in tools like Jira.Contribute to setting up and improving CI/CD-integrated automated testing pipelines.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance roles.Strong automation experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.Experience with AI-assisted QA toolsFamiliarity with Databricks workflows and data validation.API testing experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar.Understanding of React UI testing (Cypress/Playwright) and backend API testing for Golang services.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).Understanding of Spark SQL for validating data in Databricks.Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).ISTQB or IIBA certification is a plus.Key CompetenciesAbility to seamlessly transition between BA and QA responsibilities.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
