Job Title: Test Lead/Architect – Selenium & Cucumber

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Test Architect with over 10 years of experience in automation and performance testing. This role demands an individual contributor who excels in designing and implementing robust test frameworks and solutions, with a strong focus on CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-based development. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, and various other testing tools, along with expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Additionally, familiarity with modern databases, NoSQL solutions, and message bus systems is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Architecture and Framework Development:
Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and Cucumber.
Develop new testing frameworks and enhance existing ones to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure test frameworks integrate seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines.
CI/CD Implementation:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Integrate continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and practices.
Utilize Jenkins and its plugins for automation, performance testing, and report generation.
Containerization and Orchestration:
Design and implement containerized testing solutions using Docker.
Manage and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes.
Ensure efficient scaling and management of containerized testing environments.
Cloud SDK Based Development:
Develop cloud-native testing solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud SDKs.
Implement and manage cloud-based testing services and solutions.
Database and Messaging Knowledge:
Utilize modern databases and NoSQL solutions in the context of test automation.
Implement messaging solutions using message bus systems.
Ensure efficient handling of data for testing purposes.
Robotic Test Automation:
Leverage robotic test automation tools and techniques to enhance testing processes.
Willingness to learn and implement new robotic test automation solutions.
Performance Testing and Reporting:
Conduct performance testing to ensure application stability and performance.
Generate detailed automation and performance testing reports.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation and performance testing.
Strong proficiency in Selenium and Cucumber.
Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins and its plugins.
Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
In-depth knowledge of modern databases, NoSQL solutions, and message bus systems.
Experience with robotic test automation tools and techniques.
Strong understanding of automation and performance testing best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver solutions quickly.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with additional test automation tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of security testing and best practices in test automation.
Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Ability to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation.
