JOB DESCRIPTION:
Must have:
Experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Technology Platform.
Good knowledge on SAP DWC/Datasphere - Data Builder, Tables, Views, Intelligent Lookup, Data Flow, Task Chain, etc.
Banking or Financial Domain exposure
Good to have:
Experience in Architecting/Designing data flows from sourcing to loading using SAP HANA application development technologies.
Hands on SAP DWC/Datasphere.
Data transformation and Data modelling in SAP Datasphere/SAC.
Developing SAP Datasphere end-to-end Dataflows.
Design, build data flows, and develop chains to load and monitor Data Loading.
Must have hands on experience in integrating SAP SQL DWC HDI containers and SAP Hana Cloud Data Lake.
Define and implement data models and views to enable data extraction and business views to enable operational reporting using SAC.
Working Knowledge in Integration of SAP Analytics cloud with Datasphere.
Create and Monitor Space in SAP Datasphere.
Create an Entity Relationship Model in SAP Datasphere.
Integrate data from SAP R/3, S4 HANA and other sources into SAP Datasphere, providing a comprehensive business view. Leverage SAP BTP for enhanced data orchestration and advanced analytics capabilities.
Good hands-on experience in writing SQLs (preferably HANA SQLScript and HANA stored procedures).
Experience in HANA Modelling – calculation view, joins, union, variables & input parameter, etc.
Good hands-on experience in developing HANA SDI flowgraphs (i.e Native HANA ETL scripts)
Should have worked with development tool such as SAP Web IDE, HANA studio, BTP-BAS.
Should have worked with source management tool like Git hub and defect and repository management tool like JIRA and Confluence
Strong conceptual and working knowledge on data warehouses, ETL, Data models (dimensional, relational), data layers, data integrity, data integration, data sourcing methods (flat file interfaces, api calls preferably). Knowing data historization/versioning, data masking, data archiving/purging is not mandatory but is good as advantage over other candidate profile.
Experience in executing performance analysis and tuning of ETL scripts, SQLs, DB stored procedure etc.
Experience across all stages of SDLC lifecycle.
Exposure to Agile sprint cycles, managed code deployments to test and preprod environments.
Understands and manages production release notes of deliverables from own team and ensures tight stakeholder communication.
Understands production issues and SLAs/severity and provides timely resolution from team/self.
Strong logical analytical bend of mind and able to recognise problems in advance and provide value add to solution.
Should have designed unit test cases for SAP DWC as well as done peer code reviews.
Supported SIT and UAT testing teams to analyse and fix issues related to above specific tech-based projects.
Proven skills in analysing non performant code and tuned it appropriately for better performance.
Good written and oral communication.
