Our 4D LiDAR sensors uniquely detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position, allowing autonomous devices like vehicles and robots to make more intelligent and safe decisions.
Role Overview
We are looking for a System Integration Test Engineer with a focus on building automated regression testing of DSP and other Lidar functionalities in production as well as simulation platforms.
What you'll do
Design and develop test frameworks for automated testing of Lidar functionalities in software as well as digital platforms
Understand DSP algorithms running on the system and design stress tests to validate the design and implementation
Develop detailed test plans and regression test suites to make sure new and existing functionalities work as expected.
Participate in the team's development processes, including requirements and design documentation, test-plan generation and execution, peer design and code reviews, process feedback and improvements
What you have
Bachelor’s or a master’s degree with an emphasis towards DSP, software or systems engineering
3+ years of experience in Python development, shell scripting and developing automation test frameworks
Knowledge of working principles of signal processing, embedded software development and HW/SW interfaces
Willingness to learn, ability to communicate well and demonstrate healthy drive and energy to deliver a high-quality product
Nice-to-have
Experience working on DSP systems
Experience with test-in-loop development (SIL/HIL)
Knowledge of signal processing algorithms for radar/lidar/communication systems
Experience developing in C/C++
