With active investments in 130+ startups, we operate at the convergence of capital precision and operational depth.Role OverviewWe’re hiringPrincipalto lead investment execution and portfolio development across our core funds:1 role in Gift City, GandhinagarforArtha Continuum FundReports to:Managing Partner, Artha Continuum FundYou’ll be responsible for full-cycle investing, from sourcing and thesis development to diligence, structuring, and post-investment portfolio work.You’lllead a team of Associates and Analysts , run internal reviews, and set the bar for research quality and investment judgment.This is aPartner-trackrole for professionals ready to own capital, conviction, and execution at a high-performance fund.What You’ll LeadEnd-to-End Deal ExecutionBuild proprietary sourcing pipelines (India and global)Drive founder meetings, diligence, modeling, and IC prepLead term sheet negotiation, legal closure, and disbursementPortfolio Value CreationAdvise founders across GTM, hiring, org design, and downstream capitalIdentify underperformance early; own risk-mitigation conversationsTrack and report KPIs, milestones, and board-level insightsTeam LeadershipMentor and manage Associates and AnalystsEnforce follow-up, research depth, and memo qualityRun internal investment reviews and pre-IC forumsFund Strategy & ReportingContribute to LP dashboards and investor updatesSupport new fund design, co-investment structures, and sector allocationsRepresent Artha at founder forums, investor summits, and panelsCandidate Profile7–10 yearsin venture capital, private equity, or fund investingStrong deal sheet: you’ve led or co-led 3+ investments end-to-endExperience across sourcing, founder interaction, diligence, and IC presentationConfident communicator—can defend a thesis without overplayingBonus: operator background, product/strategy experience in a startupNote:Candidates withonly investment banking or transaction advisory experience will not be considered.This is abuy-side investor role , not a transaction support or fundraising job.Key Traits for SuccessAn ownership-first mindset with high performance standardsStrong follow-up discipline and pipeline hygieneExperience leading junior team members and upholding execution claritySharp financial acumen, cap table intuition, and modeling fluencyAbility to build trust with both founders and fund leadershipCompensation StructureTotal annual package -₹45,00,000₹36,00,000fixed annual salary₹4,00,000annual retention bonus (paid after 12 months)₹5,00,000 in ESOPsgranted annually(each annual grant comes with its own vesting schedule)Performance bonuslinked to portfolio KPIs and personal executionCarryin the fund (disclosed at final interview)Fixed compensation is non-negotiable.All upside is earned through performance, not negotiation.Incomplete answersto screening or reflection questions will result in disqualification.
