We are seeking an OutSystems Software Developer to join our Global IT Development Team at our Global Capability Centre in Bangalore. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom-built software applications to support Ceres operations across the United States, Caribbean, Pacific, and New Zealand. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create data collection and management applications optimized for iOS devices, laptops, and other platforms — with a focus on offline-capable solutions. Success in this role will mean delivering robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications that support our field operations and enhance overall business efficiency. Design, develop, and configure high-quality applications using OutSystems Service Studio, ensuring alignment with business and operational needs. • Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-structured coding practices in line with industry best practices and internal standards. • Design and implement intuitive user interfaces and layouts using OutSystems web and mobile frameworks. • Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure optimal application performance. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software-related issues independently or in collaboration with OutSystems support. • Collaborate with IT leadership to evaluate, recommend, and implement innovative tools and technologies. • Support the deployment and maintenance of production applications, ensuring stability and reliability. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 4 years of experience in software development using OutSystems. • At least 3 years of experience in designing and delivering custom software solutions across diverse business processes. • Certified OutSystems Developer — Web and/or Mobile (mandatory). • Proficiency in working within Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. • Experience in building offline-capable applications for mobile and field-based operations. • Familiarity with geo-centric software solutions is a strong advantage. Strong understanding of software development principles and application lifecycle management. • Solid knowledge of UI/UX best practices and responsive design for mobile and web applications. • Familiarity with software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes. • Proficiency in JavaScript for customization and advanced logic development. • Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in a team environment. • Experience developing solutions in highly distributed, multi-region enterprise environments. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and application deployment strategies. • Exposure to GIS-based or mapping software solutions.
