Job Description – Tax Technology Specialist / / Tax Engineer
Location: India
Experience: 6+ years
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and other business teams to implement tax software and automate key processes.
- Define and coordinate technology requirements for the Tax Department.
- Develop business requirement documents, including a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap.
- Configure and optimize tax technology solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Snowflake, Pyramid, and Python .
- Manage and collaborate with multiple external vendors supporting tax processes.
- Stay ahead of emerging tax technology trends, continuously refining the tax technology strategy for maximum effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience with a strong foundation in Engineering and Tax .
- Proven project management skills, with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid knowledge of US and/or UK Tax frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise in at least one of the following: Snowflake, Thomson Reuters OneSource, Alteryx, Pyramid, Python, Salesforce, RPA, or Microsoft Suite .
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional technology and business teams.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing tax technology solutions across the full project lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Independent, proactive, and self-motivated professional.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) required.
