Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at KnowVisory Global. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and handle accounting responsibilities for our US-based clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively. The senior accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial analysis, preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements per US GAAP for multiple clients.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
Accounting: Create and verify invoices; post payments on open invoices in QB, post and park journal entries, reconcile bank accounts and credit cards.
Month-end Close: Manage month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement review.
Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for US-based clients, providing financial guidance and addressing any accounting-related inquiries.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency for both the clients and the accounting team.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other accounting team members to share knowledge, support each other, and ensure consistency in accounting practices.
Qualifications
Experience working with US-based clients.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Certifications such as CA, CPA or CMA are preferred.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of accounting software such as Netsuite is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, focusing on US GAAP.
Should be an Immediate Joiner.
Must have experience in the Hotel Industry.
