Role: QA Engineer - Backend Location: East of Kailash, New Delhi Experience: 3-4 Years About the Role: As a QA Engineer - Backend, the candidate will play a critical role in ensuring software quality by collaborating with cross-functional teams and will validate API functionality, create automated test scripts, and conduct performance and security testing to maintain the integrity and reliability of our backend systems. Job Responsibilities: ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Dev Ops and Product Managers to maintain a high standard of software quality ● Have understanding of various application & transport layer protocols like HTTP, g RPC, Websockets, TCP etc ● Prepare documented API Test Cases from PRDs & validate API requests and responses, ensuring Data Sanity as per Business Requirements ● Maintain Postman API Workspace/Collection & Develop robust & reusable Automated Test Scripts for testing REST APIs, Graph QL APIs & Websockets using tools like Postman ● Performance/Load Testing (HTTP APIs, Graphql & Websockets) with tools like Jmeter and load testing scripts ● DB (Mongodb, Mysql, Cassandra) Data validation & Health & Query Performance Monitoring using Atlas Tools & PMM dashboards ● Ensuring API Security best practices including Rate limiting, Throttling, WAF & DDOS Protection ● Backend Microservices health monitoring using Grafana, Cloud Watch & Kubernetes Dashboards ● Monitoring Production Logs using tools like ELK & Setting up and Monitoring Alarms & Alert related to cost and service downtime ● Bug Reporting, Resolution Tracking using tools like Jira and perform RCA for defects with detailed documentation ● Familiar with testing paradigms like Unit tests, Functional testing, Integration testing, White box and Black box testing, System Acceptance Testing and User Acceptance Testing You are better than others if you: ● Have experience in writing JS unit test cases in with tools like Mocha, Chai, Jest is a plus● Have experience with frontend automated testing including tools like Appium & Selenium● Stay up-to-date with the latest automation tools, frameworks and testing trends Interview Process:1) Basic Screening Round by HR Team2) Technical Knowledge Round(s)3) HR Head Round4) Co-Founder's Round (In- Office)5) Founder's Round Employee Benefits: Health Insurance: We offer comprehensive health insurance coverage to ensure our employees have access to quality healthcare when they need it most.
