JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
To ensure daily production & solvent distillation activity, as per defined CAPACITY in line with Management requirement/Sales plan is adhering to GMP and EHS requirements.
To monitor and control the production & solvent distillation process in the area of responsibility, through efficient use of resources, as per established operational procedures, SOP, work instructions, BPCR.
To ensure production with desired/specified Quality Parameters.
To optimize process Parameters to reduce Batch cycle time and increase capacity with without investment in line with Management need.
Make new proposal for capacity improvement, quality improvement and commission it.
Ensure online BPCR filing by Supervisors and in time submission to QA.
Ensure deviations, incidents, OOT, OOS, change control, URS, PQ & Internal & External Audits / Government agencies are faced and succeeded in line with Quality requirements.
To review daily & monthly report prepared by team. Set targets for down the line monitor & execute it and fulfil gaps if any wrt targets.
Keep on informing / consulting to superior for critical issue & support.
Ensure Daily Plant Round and find gaps WRT Housekeeping, ESD and HAZARD, Safety Environment health & hygiene point of view for production team and act/improve on it.
Check, validate and see GAPS and resolve with CFT & superiors ensure get solved. Keep on informing / consulting to superior for critical issue & support.
Conduct daily interaction with 2nd line/Below team members & CFT for Trouble shooting Ensure get solved. Keep on informing / Consulting to Superior for critical issue & support.
Conduct Minimum 2 Trainings per month: Production Safety GMP SOP (existing & new).
Ensure SOP and evaluate existing processes and operational GAP and improve it.
Equipment to be handled: All plant operational equipment needed. -ACT with CFT / Superiors for any GAP and solve it.
Ensure Improvement Projects Energy conservation, cost reduction Quality & improve solvent recovery yield during solvent recovery process.
Coordinate CFT to minimize down time.
Coordinate and Monitor Safety for Zero Incidents Via Permit Review, Plant Round, Interaction for PPE, Teaching, Guidance, Near Miss finding, CFT coordination & Maintain Housekeeping.
Ensure proper sample submitted as required by Marketing in Coordination with QA.
Proactively ensure RM inventory, Packing’s and other chemicals in coordination with warehouse.
Ensure all QRM, MRM (KRA) and HSE – Monthly meeting data provided on time.
Ensure total guidance & training to complete down time for production, HSE, day to day Time Cycle data monitoring & quality point of view.
Delegate Quality, HSE and Other QA documentation activities to Supervisors after training and guideline.
Ensuring Production Runs at Zero OT ideally , and OT with strong justification.
Find and discuss any Risk of Quality , resources, HSE with Superior and act as per guidance on time to time/ proactively.
Ensure all manpower performs duty as per responsibility defined /SOP/Work instructions.
Handle Grievance properly, and in case of Need with Superiors.
Ensure All disciplines wrt Safety/ Hygiene / restricted items / PPEs are been followed strictly.
Ensure safety training to the teams are placed in Shifts and can be used in need (perfect Shfit Planning – 1st Aid, ERT & Resource and Help by Safety)
Information concerning processes conditions and solve problems/take corrective actions To monitor and control the production process in the area of responsibility, through efficient use of resources, as per established operational procedures.
To optimize process parameters to reduce Batch cycle time.
To prepare Daily Report (Distillation column) & Monthly Report.
To prepare PSSR, PHA & review HAZOP Study.
To monitor where necessary.
To Commission and decommission process plants & Report and respond to incidents, hazardous conditions and emergencies.
To review unit operation data (Production In charge log, etc.) & analyses this data to determine potential problems & ensure that unit operation meets with company objectives with regard to safety quality reliability & profitability.
Handling Manpower, Preparing shift Schedule.
To co-ordinate with maintenance group to have repair & modifications of the equipment's in the unit.
Education Qualification & Skills
B. Sc / M. Sc - Chemistry / Organic Chemistry with 15 + Years experience in API production
· Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
