Key Responsibilities:
Identify potential land parcels in target areas through local contacts, brokers, and direct sourcing.
Conduct due diligence on land records, ownership, legal clearances, and zoning regulations.
Negotiate terms with landowners, finalize agreements, and manage end-to-end acquisition documentation.
Coordinate with legal, compliance, and government authorities to ensure smooth transactions.
Maintain a strong local network to stay informed of upcoming land opportunities.
Travel regularly to Alibaug and Karjat to oversee site visits, meetings, and documentation.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in land acquisition, preferably in Maharashtra.
Strong understanding of local real estate regulations, land titles, and legal processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Willing to travel frequently to Alibaug and Karjat.
Fluency in English & Marathi is a strong advantage.
Bonus Points For:
Existing network of brokers, landowners, and local contacts in Alibaug/Karjat.
Background in real estate, infrastructure, or related sectors.
