This is a full-time off-shore role for a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer at MillionLogics in Hyderabad, India. The Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will be responsible for tasks such as developing database triggers, programming, ETL processes, software development, and ensuring data integrity and efficiency in database systems.
To support core applications and BAU activities, provide user acceptance testing, and deliver the programme and project roadmap set out for the in-house applications using ORACLE applications
Investigate potential software bugs which includes troubleshooting existing code and identifying/implementing solutions
Front-facing in communication and working with partners, to manage expectations and progress of tasks
Ensure that code is written to efficiently manipulate large datasets and carry out performance investigation and improvement work
Develop data migration scripts while moving data across databases, from flat files and Excel to tables.
Work and align with fellow developers within the team to deliver the developments across multiple applications
Identify the database bottlenecks within the application.
Technical experience writing production code for Oracle 23c database
Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL with developing skills of complex packages, procedures, triggers
Code management using GitLab, TOAD
Experience in debugging and performance tuning PL/SQL code
Experience with ETL processing, data extraction, transform, and load
Linux skills desirable
Proven experience producing high-level design documents
Sound Experience on Pl/Sql packages, Triggers, and Procedures.
Informatica Experience is a must (2+ years)
Scheduling Jobs using Autosys and Unix Shell Scripting
Knowledge of the Power Distribution/Energy domain would be beneficial.
Must have 5+ years of experience.
Strong problem-solving skills
