The Strategic Electronics Business Unit designs, develops and manufactures customized, complex products for Defence and Space customers. Centum is a leading industry partner for India's DRDO labs, Defence PSUs as well as the Space Research Organization having delivered mission-critical electronics on major missile, radar, electronic warfare & satellite applications. What You'll Do (Job Role)
To build and place a strategic business plan & set annual sales target.
Responsible for developing new market & services, for Defense Customers in Mo D / Tri-Services and other similar customers including export.
Congregate latest Market intelligence report, competitor study and benchmarking for respective product segment.
Able to manage a sales team.
Should be able to prepare various reports such as Annual budget report & sales report, Bid-No Bid Analysis, Market Intelligence Notes,
Sales & Service of new products & existing products
Interaction with the customers at all the stages of sales / BD,
Providing solutions to customers
Stabilise and streamline existing customer base, build long term customer relationship and raise customer satisfaction index.
Lead a team of sales executives for attaining a departmental objective.
Prepare & maintain list of customers in market segments and select key target accounts for sales /market actions.
Responsible for Sales Nos. agreed in annual operating plan.
Understanding Customer requirements and deliver through Cross functional teams.
Building Effective customer relationship
Targeting and raising a new customer base.
Manage the sales team by preparing & ensuring implementation of specific sales programme to achieve budget sales volume & margins.
Prepare annual budgets.
Who You Are:
Candidates with a background in the Air Force (IAF) or Army, currently working in the private sector, and possessing strong sales and marketing expertise. The overall experience range should be 13 to 22 years.
A strong technical understanding of the business domain and knowledge of electronics background
Defence sales process knowledge / experience.
Able to plan in detail and well in advance.
Systems thinking
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good interpersonal skills
Problem solving abilities.
Good spoken and written English communication Skills.
Computer Savvy
Educational Background:
B. E (E&C) Essential
Master's degree in Electronics / MBA will be an added advantage.
Good Number of Years in the Defense Services with Mo D (Army/Airforce)
