Role Overview


We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on Salesforce and UI Path deployment management, pipeline optimization, and tool integrations.


The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and streamlining deployment processes, environment strategies, and version control systems for Salesforce and UI Path applications. The role also involves integrating collaboration tools like Slack and Jira, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring robust PR validation and code scanning processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure system operations.

Responsibilities


Salesforce Deployment Management


  • Version Control : Manage Salesforce deployments using GitHub and Gearset , ensuring version control and seamless code integration.
  • Environment Management : Maintain and configure Salesforce environments, including sandbox, testing, and production environments. & develop and execute environment refresh strategies to synchronize data and metadata.
  • Backup and Archival : Implement secure backup and archival strategies to protect data and ensure disaster recovery.
  • Deployment Planning : Coordinate and schedule Salesforce deployments, collaborating with developers, QA, and business stakeholders.


UI Path Deployment Management


  • Version Control : Utilize GitHub for managing UI Path automation workflows and maintaining version control.
  • Environment and Refresh Strategies : Configure and manage UI Path environments, including development, testing, and production environments.
  • Regularly refresh environments to maintain consistency and reliability.
  • Backup and Archival : Establish backup and archival procedures for workflows and configurations to ensure operational resilience.


Pipeline and Workflow Optimization


  • Pipeline Management : Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both Salesforce and UI Path deployments. Monitor pipeline performance and optimize for speed and reliability.
  • GitHub Branch Management : Implement best practices for branch management, ensuring clear workflows and controlled releases.
  • PR (Pull Request) Validation : Automate and enforce validations during pull requests, including static code analysis, security checks, and deployment readiness.


Integration and Collaboration Tools


  • Slack Integration : Configure Slack for real-time notifications of deployment statuses, pipeline alerts, and system health updates.
  • Jira Integration : Integrate Jira to streamline ticket tracking, deployment planning, and workflow automation. Monitor and track progress on tasks, bugs, and feature requests related to deployments.
  • Code Scan Tools : Integrate tools like SonarQube , Checkmarx , or other static analysis tools to ensure code quality and compliance with security standards.


Support and Troubleshooting


  • Provide ongoing support for deployment-related issues, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Document processes, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting guidelines for team use.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address gaps in processes and enhance deployment efficiency.
  • Monitor logs and system health to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.


Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Proven experience in DevOps roles with expertise in Salesforce and UI Path deployment and environment management.
  • Proficiency in using GitHub for version control, branch management, and integration with deployment tools like Gearset.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines , including tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of integration tools like Slack and Jira for enhanced team collaboration and workflow automation.
  • Experience with code quality and security tools (e.g., SonarQube , Checkmarx ).
  • Strong understanding of PR validation processes and best practices for deployment pipelines.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Skills


  • Familiarity with Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, CPQ).
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum-based workflows.
