Job Title: SME Team Lead - Service Now Implementation
Location: Mumbai
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SME Team Lead with over 12+ years of expertise in IT Service Management, particularly in Service Now implementation. The ideal candidate will lead a team of subject experts, driving best practices in Service Now solutions to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Lead and mentor a team of Service Now subject experts in delivering high-quality solutions.
· Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Service Now, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry standards.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
· Provide guidance on best practices and strategies for Service Now modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, Sec Ops and others.
· Conduct regular reviews of team deliverables, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
· Identify and resolve issues related to Service Now implementations and configurations.
· Stay current with Service Now releases and updates, ensuring the team is well-informed and skilled in new features.
· Develop training materials and conduct workshops for end-users and team members.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting innovation and knowledge sharing.
· Knowledge of ITIL framework.
Relevant Experience:
· 12+ years of experience in IT Service Management, with a strong focus on Service Now implementation.
· Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.
· In-depth knowledge of Service Now modules and functionalities.
· Experience with developing and optimizing Service Now dashboards, alerts, and reports.
· Ability to communicate complex / technical issues to non-technical audiences
· Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing managed services projects.
· Knowledge of communication and analytical tools is preferred e.g. MS Project, Power Point, Excel.
· Understanding of Java Script, Angular JS, relational databases, SQL and web services.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
· Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
