About the jobWe at Accolade Electronics are on the look-out for Sr Engineer to join our Hardware team.Must have- Design and develop electronic hardware for automotive applications, ensuring EMI-EMC compliance with electrical and environmental test industry standards.- Hands-on experience with design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and simulation tools (e.g., LT-SPICE, P-SPICE MATLAB) to create and optimize electronic circuits and systems.- Strong knowledge of discrete component calculations and finding appropriate solutions.- Proficiency in communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, I2 C, SPI, Ethernet etc).- Strong knowledge of DFMEA, RCA methods, microcontroller peripherals, analog circuits and digital circuits.- Generate & review RFQs and BOMs for new projects.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and clients to discuss design specifications, project requirements, and technical challenges.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Good to have- Design and integrate radio frequency (RF) components, GSM/GPS modules, and other wireless communication technologies.- Experience with automotive industry functional safety and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100).- Knowledge of basic software development for embedded systems (e.g., C, C++, python).- Familiar with quality management system process and documentation according to IATF, CMMI, ISO etc.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for successful CFT and stakeholder discussions.- Hands on with project management & tools e.g. Jira, Code beamer etc- Experience in Telematics control unit, Motor controller unit, Body control module, driver assist applications.Desired soft skills- Good written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work with a cross-functional team.- Sense of ownership and urgency when working in the company.- Strong sense of ethicsEducation- B.
