Have the ability to reverse engineer existing code, document requirements, & implement robust, scalable solutions. Responsibilities Analyze, reverse engineer the existing application to understand its functionality, architecture, and business logic Document technical & functional detail requirements from the existing sources Develop software aligning to technical requirements and architecture Develop services with optimal performance, scalability and maintainability Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of the client and stakeholders Implement App Sync APIs interacting with Java and Python applications Implement secure, efficient and scalable APIs following best practices Contribute in UI development using Angular Work with lead developer and architect aligning to technical goals Create API documentation for the APIs including workflow diagrams and specs Revise, debug and refactor the code ensuring the code comments Required Skills Expert-level proficiency in Java, Angular including knowledge of relevant frameworks Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Must have experience in building web applications using Angular frameworks. Desirable experience in building applications using React JS. Proven experience in reverse engineering and rewriting legacy applications Decent exposure with AWS App Sync and Graph QL for API development Proficient in code analysis, reverse engineering, and transforming legacy code Familiarity with relational databases (e. G., DB2, Postgre SQL)Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a dynamic environment A team player with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to get along with other peers.
