Summary:

We are looking for a skilled OCI Cloud Engineer to join our team. The OCI Cloud Engineer role involves managing and optimizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services across compute, storage, networking, security, and database domains. Key responsibilities include:


Key Responsibilities:

OCI Compute

Expertise in fault domains and availability domains.

Comprehensive understanding of shapes, images, and capacity types for instances.

Experience in creating custom images.

Knowledge of instance configurations and auto-scaling concepts.

OCI RBAC & IAM

Proficiency in creating compartments aligned with best practices.

Experience managing IDCS, IAM users, and groups.

Hands-on experience with group mappings and defining access policies.

Knowledge of managing MFA, SSO, API keys, and auth tokens.

Familiarity with federation and its integration with OCI IAM.

OCI Storage Models (Block and File)

Proficiency in managing boot and block volumes, including backups and cloning.

Expertise in file systems creation, management, and snapshots.

OCI Object Storage and Buckets

Hands-on experience managing object storage, buckets, and pre-authentication requests.

Strong knowledge of lifecycle policy rules.

OCI Network Services

Expertise in creating VCNs, subnets, and security groups.

Knowledge of route tables, IGW, NAT Gateway, Service Gateway, and VPNs.

Experience in load balancers, SSL certifications, DNS management, LPG, RPG, and Fast Connect.

OCI Cloud Guard and WAF

Strong skills in web application firewalls and OCI Cloud Guard services.

OCI Backup and Replication

Experience defining custom backup policies and managing cross-region replication.

OCI Infrastructure Migration

Knowledge of migration processes, including lift-and-shift and third-party tools.

OCI DB Instances and RMAN

Experience creating DBCS, managing RMAN backups, and database storage configurations.

OCI Monitoring and Logging

Proficiency in OCI monitoring, logging, health checks, and alarms.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Expertise in Terraform and IaC tools across OCI and other cloud platforms.

Qualification:

4+ years of experience in OCI and cloud engineering.

Hands-on experience with cloud automation and migration.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
