Natural Resources & Construction Risk Engineer
Experience of 3 to10 years
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Professional engineering qualifications, experience in the power sector, and knowledge and expertise in risk assessment, particularly in power generation and the renewable energy sector, are advantageous.
Experience in an insurance company is a plus.
Strong digital and data analytical skills.
Assist Global Allianz Underwriting in risk selection and retention.
Advise Underwriters on construction and operational risks in the renewable energy sector, particularly in areas such as onshore wind farms, solar PV plants, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Hydro-electric plant.
Evaluate risk information and perform desktop reviews and risk analyses for both existing and new business. Often, you will need to summarize the risk quality of portfolios and large accounts/programs.
