We are building AI Agents for the freight trucking industry. Roughly 80% of goods transportation in the US is done by trucks. These trucks are powered by over 1.2 million trucking businesses and create over $700 B in annual revenue. Channel19’s mission is to address the intricate operational inefficiencies that burden these trucking businesses. We are building AI powered agents to tackle these use cases.
The Role
Your main focus will be supporting the assigned trucking companies, providing daily feedback to the entire team, and help design & build our AI Agents. You will be responsible for searching, negotiating and booking loads on behalf of the assigned trucking company customers. You will be providing support to our customers that handle this function on their own.
This is a critical role, the decisions you make will affect the overall success of not only our customers but our company as well. You will have the opportunity to not only execute our current processes but also continually improve them by working with sales, product, and engineering. You will earn the trust of our customers by providing high quality customer service and above average financial outcomes through freight booked on their behalf.
What You'll Do
Support assigned trucking companies and be responsible for retention & growth while building high customer satisfaction
Become a trusted advisor/partner to our customers by understanding their business goals and helping them achieve those goals
Search and book loads for customers using load boards and Channel19 AI platform
Negotiate with freight brokers to secure the best rates for our customers
Utilize a variety of tools to identify the best freight options for our customers
Build partnerships with our freight providers (brokers and shippers)
Learning from the customers needs, provide a constant feedback loop to prioritize features & improvements on our product roadmap
Develop processes internally that will allow Channel19 to scale efficiently while delivering high customer satisfaction
Coordinate with sales, onboarding, and operations to ensure seamless customer experience
Qualifications
1 to 3 years experience in a customer-service role like customer success, customer Support, or account management in the small business space
1 to 3 years experience in truck dispatching is required from a trucking or dispatching company
Ability to remain calm and operate effectively while interacting with a variety of personality types, handling unforeseen issues, and addressing them to the satisfaction of our carriers, brokers, and shippers
Ability to negotiate win-win deals for our customers and brokers/shippers
Ability to identify friction in existing processes and reengineer them for better outcomes
Fluency in English and Punjabi is required
Experience in the US truckload freight industry and interacting with truckers
Experience booking freight via load boards (DAT, Truckstop, Broker Boards etc.)
