Purpose:

The PMO Lead will be responsible for overseeing the project management office functions within the Cybersecurity function. This role requires a dynamic individual with at least 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity project management and a good understanding of Cybersecurity Technologies and Processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading projects, implementing best practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The PMO Lead will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives, managing project portfolios, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the


Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience within the Cybersecurity industry
  • Demonstrated experience in leading project teams and managing project portfolios
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the Cybersecurity domain
  • Experience in driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project management office, ensuring the successful delivery of projects
  • Develop and implement project management processes, methodologies, and best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for project portfolios, aligning them with business objectives and Cybersecurity priorities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Cybersecurity requirements
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement
  • Ensure compliance with Cybersecurity standards, regulations, and frameworks while executing project activities
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues and challenges to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables
  • Prepare project governance trackers and project status updates
  • Lead project governance meetings, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Mentor and coach project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the project management office
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of Cybersecurity project management capabilities, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends


Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or related discipline (preferred)


Certification required:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification (preferred)

  • In-depth understanding of risk management, threat intelligence, and incident response in Cybersecurity
  • Expertise in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies


Non-Negotiable Skills:

  • Proven experience in leading project management office functions within the Cybersecurity industry
  • Demonstrated capability in implementing project management best practices and methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and regulations
