Lead Engineer D&C Operations

Interested candidates, kindly mail to Main Purpose To plan, execute, and supervise drilling operations of CBM wells as per the approved plan. The role involves ensuring implementation of RIL safety and statutory compliances at the rig site, monitoring contractor performance, and supporting efficient and safe drilling operations. Job Accountabilities: Serve as the Company Man on the drilling rig. Ensure implementation of RIL safety standards and statutory compliances at the rig site. Execute drilling of deviated and horizontal wells and troubleshoot well-related complications. Hold overall responsibility for day-to-day rig site operations, including ILM/Rig movement. Actively participate in safety-related activities, including safety drills, internal and external audits, and motivating stop-card participation, including recognition ceremonies. Monitor contractor and third-party service performance, and perform NPT (Non-Productive Time) analysis. Prepare quarterly scorecards for various contractors. Manage inventory and maintain records of on-site drilling consumables. Coordinate closely with RIL Civil, LAQ, and Electrical teams to obtain site clearances prior to rig movement. Provide on-site training and development for new GETs. Skills Required: Experience in supervising drilling operations. Knowledge of deviated drilling, UBD, and rig equipment. Valid IWCF Level 4 certification. Qualifications and Experience: Graduate degree in Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.
