About the Role
As the Campus and Talent Branding Leader, you will drive the strategy for building a compelling employer brand and attract top early-career talent through impactful campus recruitment efforts. A key part of this role is to enhance internal communication to ensure that employees are engaged brand ambassadors and that our values resonate both within the organization and with potential candidates. You will collaborate closely with HR, marketing, and business leaders to establish a unified approach that strengthens our talent brand both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campus Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute a campus recruiting strategy to attract a diverse pipeline of emerging talent. Build long-term partnerships with target universities and technical schools, creating an engaging on-campus presence through events, networking, and company presentations.
- Employer Brand Development: Define and communicate a strong employer brand narrative that highlights the company’s culture, values, and employee experience. Ensure that brand messaging is consistent across all talent acquisition channels, internal platforms, and campus initiatives.
- Internal Communication & Engagement: Partner with HR and internal communications teams to create campaigns that engage employees with the company’s mission, culture, and initiatives. Encourage employees to become brand advocates who communicate our culture effectively to potential hires.
- Content Creation & Campaign Management: Develop content and campaigns, such as social media, blog posts, and newsletters, that showcase employee stories, growth opportunities, and organizational values. Collaborate with marketing to ensure seamless execution of internal and external campaigns.
- Event Management: Plan and lead employer branding events, including university career fairs, on-campus presentations, virtual recruiting events, and employee referral programs. Create engaging and interactive formats that capture the attention of prospective talent.
- Metrics & ROI Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for campus recruiting and branding initiatives, including quality of hires, candidate engagement, offer acceptance rates, and event ROI. Use data to assess campaign effectiveness and make adjustments for continual improvement.
- Diversity & Inclusion (D&I): Work closely with the D&I team to ensure campus strategies are inclusive and reflect the company’s commitment to diversity. Implement initiatives that target underrepresented groups in early-career hiring.
- Talent Ambassador Program: Develop and manage a network of campus brand ambassadors and internal employee advocates who actively promote the company culture and brand through their networks and social media.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, alumni, and university relations teams to align on key messaging, recruitment goals, and identify new ways to reach target audiences effectively. Regularly update stakeholders on progress and adjust strategies based on their feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in campus recruiting, employer branding, talent marketing, or a related role, with a strong focus on internal communication.
- Proven track record in building successful campus recruitment programs and talent branding strategies.
- Experience in creating and executing communication campaigns that engage and inspire both internal and external audiences.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with experience organizing events, leading campaigns, and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, digital marketing, and content creation tools. Knowledge of recruitment marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
- Passion for creating inclusive talent programs that promote diversity in early-career hiring.
