As the Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for the overall user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design across all of our digital products. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to design beautiful, intuitive, and engaging user experiences that delight our customers and drive business results.In this role, you will take charge of our design strategy, lead a team of designers, and drive the vision of how CoverSure's products look and feel, ensuring they provide a seamless and delightful user experience.Key Responsibilities:Design Leadership: Lead the design strategy and vision for all of CoverSure’s products, ensuring an exceptional and cohesive user experience across platforms.Team Management: Mentor and lead a team of UI/UX designers, fostering their professional development and driving high-quality design output.User Research & Insights: Conduct and synthesize user research, persona development, and user testing to deeply understand our users' needs, behaviors, and pain points.UI/UX Design: Create intuitive, functional, and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the user journey from onboarding to feature usage.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to define product requirements and translate them into user-centered designs.Prototyping & Wireframing: Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to convey product features and user interactions effectively.Design Systems: Maintain and evolve CoverSure’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.Feedback & Iteration: Work with stakeholders and users to gather feedback and iterate on designs to meet both user needs and business objectives.Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure that CoverSure remains at the forefront of design innovation.Required Qualifications:Experience: 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or senior design role.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a design team.Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects, demonstrating your design process from concept to completion.Design Expertise: Deep understanding of UX principles, user-centered design processes, and interaction design.Tool Proficiency: Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.User Research & Testing: Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing findings to inform design decisions.Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail, aesthetics, and the ability to maintain design consistency across products.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in InsurTech, FinTech, e-commerce, or similar industries.Experience building and maintaining design systems.Familiarity with agile product development and working closely with engineering teams.Strong business acumen with an understanding of how design impacts product KPIs and user engagement.Experience working in startup or fast-paced environments.
