As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. The candidate will work with product managers and UX designers to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall success of the product.Responsibilities:Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable codeDevelop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancementsCoordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standardsSupport test and deployment of new products and featuresParticipate in code reviewsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering with an experience of 3-8 yearsStrong proficiency and hands-on experience with NodeJS and JavaScript on the server side, ensuring the development of scalable and efficient applications.Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms to design and implement efficient and optimized software solutions.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve complex issues in the software development lifecycle.Strong understanding of relational databases, with hands-on experience in MySQL or PostgreSQL.Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, with a preference for AWS, to deploy and manage scalable applications.Has experience in tracking engineering metrics to monitor production systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Experience with Go and Python is considered a strong asset.Experience in conducting thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality standards, enforce best practices, and promote a collaborative and constructive development environment.Should have experience in comprehensive unit testing strategies for individual components and modules to ensure the robustness and reliability of the software.
