The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end procurement , from vendor sourcing and negotiation to import/export coordination — particularly for electronic goods and lab equipment sourced from China and other countries.Key Responsibilities:Oversee procurement operations across all campus locations for infrastructure and technical requirements.Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors, contractors, and suppliers (domestic and international).Conduct first-hand negotiations for better pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance , and logistics for electronic and lab equipment.Ensure compliance with procurement policies, government import norms , and institutional quality standards.Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships for long-term cost efficiency.Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to plan procurement budgets and timelines.Track market trends, pricing updates, and supplier performance.Requirements:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering / Business Administration .4+ years of proven experience in infrastructure procurement or vendor management .Strong knowledge of import/export regulations , particularly for China and Southeast Asian markets .Excellent negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems , and vendor management tools.Strong communication and leadership abilities.
