About Lenia HealthWe’re a fast-growing healthcare technology company focused on building secure, scalable digital products and intelligent automation platforms.Through system integration, workflow orchestration and data-driven solutions, we help healthcare organizations operate more efficiently and deliver better patient outcomesWhat you’ll be doingYou’ll play a key role in building and scaling modern, intelligent web applications that support data-driven workflows across the organization.Your work will directly impact how teams interact with information by delivering secure, high performance products that are intuitive and reliable including AI-assisted features for document analysis and automation.In this role, you will:Design, build, test and deploy full-stack web applications using modern React-based frameworks such as Next.js.Develop scalable frontend experiences using Tailwind CSS and component-driven UI systems.Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript to support application and integration workflows.Design, query and optimise relational databases (PostgreSQL), including schema design, migrations and performance considerations.Implement secure authentication, authorisation and role-based access controls.Integrate external systems and services via REST APIs, webhooks and event-driven workflows.Implement AI-powered features using Large Language Models (LLMs) for email parsing, document analysis and structured data extraction.Manage application data fetching, caching and state consistency across client and server layers.Participate in code reviews, testing and deployment pipelines to ensure quality, security and reliability.Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvements.Maintain technical documentation, architectural decisions and development standards.Your BackgroundWe’re looking for someone who thrives in building end-to-end digital products, a problem solver who is comfortable working across frontend, backend and cloud-based systems.You enjoy turning complex requirements into well-designed, maintainable solutions and take pride in delivering systems that scale.You’ll bring:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).4 - 6 years of experience in full-stack web development.Strong experience with React and modern frameworks such as Next.js.Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript development practices.Hands-on experience building backend logic using Node.js.Solid experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including data modelling and optimisation.Experience implementing authentication, authorisation and secure data access patterns.Familiarity with modern data-fetching and state-management approaches (e.g., React Query or equivalents).Experience with schema-based validation and structured data modelling.Exposure to cloud-based deployment platforms and CI/CD workflows.Practical experience integrating or consuming AI/LLM APIs will be highly regarded.What’s on offerThe opportunity to work on modern, business-critical platforms with real-world impact.A collaborative, technically strong engineering environment that values clean architecture and thoughtful execution.Exposure to cutting-edge web frameworks, AI-enabled workflows and cloud-native platforms.The ability to influence technical direction, tooling and engineering standards as platforms evolve.Flexible working arrangements and a culture that values ownership, accountability and continuous learning.Long term growth opportunities across multiple products and technology domains.Be part of a mission driven team transforming how healthcare systems connect and share data.
