Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and website issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and efficient technical support to users across the organization, resolving hardware, software, network, and website-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and other IT infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage IT systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware, software, and website faults.
- Manage website performance and security, ensuring the website is up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with web developers to manage website testing, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Solve issues related to website hanging, slow performance, and bugs, ensuring the website runs smoothly.
- Set up new user accounts, manage security protocols, and oversee software installations and updates.
- Perform system backups, recover data when necessary, and implement cybersecurity measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure their IT and website needs are met and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of issues, service requests, website logs, and IT equipment inventory.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT and website management policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, tools, website management best practices, and cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-3 years of experience in IT support, website management, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows & mac OS operating systems.
- Proficiency with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN) and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based services.
- Experience with website management, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal website performance.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Ability to work with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach.
- Certification in Comp TIA A+, Network+, or other relevant IT certifications is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, including IT support and website maintenance, effectively.
Your reporting time would be 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM as per Eastern Daylight Time Michigan, USA Time. {i.e.: (IST: 06.30 p.m. to 3.30 a.m.), or 5.30 p.m. to 2.30 a.m. (March - November)}, Monday to Friday.
