Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral competency)

Must Have :

  • Prinicples of BMC TrueSight Operations Management installation,Upgrade,integration,Administration,configuration (Especially with version 10.x & later)
  • Good experience in installation of Patrol Agents on Windows,RHEL,AIX,Solaris OS
  • Basics in working on knowledge modules like DB,Websphere,Exchange,Sentry hardware,Sentry monitoring studio etc. along with basic KMs like OS,LOG,URL
  • Good to have working knowledge of custom KMs
  • Troubleshooting skills to resolve Patrol Agent, TrueSight server compoenent issues
  • Knowledge in Event Management policy Administration,configuration
  • Working knowledge of MRLs,custom classes
  • Knowledge of Datacenter IT Infrastructure components, Unix, Windows OS,Virtualization

Good to Have :

  • Infrastructure knowledge on Operating system and Database
  • Good communication skills set, Understand and clear communication to the business on impact of major incidents
  • Excellent problem analysis skill set
