Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RFP (Request for Proposal) Writer to join our team. In this critical role, you will craft compelling, comprehensive, and customized proposals to respond to client requests, emphasizing our organization's capabilities, solutions, and value proposition. Success in this role requires exceptional writing, research, and project management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development: Deliver high-quality, tailored responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other client inquiries, meeting deadlines with precision.
Content Creation: Write, edit, and format technical, operational, and financial content to align with client specifications and organizational standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, sales teams, and stakeholders to gather insights and critical information for proposals.
Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure all responses meet client requirements, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
Research and Analysis: Analyze client needs and evaluation criteria to craft responses that highlight competitive differentiators.
Content Management: Maintain and update a repository of templates, past responses, and key resources for efficient proposal development.
Process Improvement: Enhance RFP response workflows by incorporating feedback and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
Leverage Tools and Technology: Utilize tools like Loopio, Grammarly, and ChatGPT to optimize responses and ensure polished deliverables.
Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end RFP process, ensuring timely completion, compliance, and collaboration across team members.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1–90 Days: 50% RFP completion with minimal additional input required.
91–180 Days: 75% completion with minimal additional input required.
181+ Days: 90% completion with minimal additional input required.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience in proposal writing, ideally within a contingent labor or MSP environment.
Familiarity with RFP processes and industry standards.
Skills:
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to simplify complex information into clear responses.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management tools.
Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
