We are not an option, we are a choice

As a Test Engineer at Rapido, you will be a vital member of a growing team and will contribute to the end-to-end product delivery in an agile environment. You will be responsible for designing and building automation frameworks and internal tools for productivity, debuggability, and serviceability. In this vital position, you will work and coordinate with various stakeholders where your efforts will impact both the company and the product quality.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cover all dimensions of Rapido’s products, including features/functionality, usability, performance, and security testing.
  • Analyze and debug production issues, and continually improve test coverage and automation.
  • Drive testing efforts within a team by coordinating with various stakeholders like Product, Design, and Engineers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage for different features as per the business requirement.
  • Automate and execute functional and integration testing.
  • Set up and manage test data for automation.
  • Track product quality metrics, like defect densities and open defects, counts and involves in triaging the same with the team

Job Requirements:

  • B.Tech. / B.E. degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering degree/experience.
  • Minimum of 2 yrs of experience working as a Test Engineer.
  • Hands-on exp in developing automation frameworks for mobile apps or APIs using appropriate open-source tools like Appium, Rest Assured, etc.
  • Hands-on in OOPS concepts and Java Programming.
  • Hands-on in testing APIs.
  • Understanding of mobile ecosystem (Android or IOS) and ability to perform functional testing, compatibility
