The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPU benchmarking, with specific expertise in SPECint, power measurements, Core Sight, and performance monitoring counters.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute CPU benchmarking tests, including SPECint and power measurements.- Analyze and interpret benchmarking results to provide insights into CPU performance and power efficiency.- Utilize CoreSight and performance monitoring counters to gather detailed performance data.- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to optimize CPU performance and power consumption.- Develop and maintain benchmarking tools and scripts.- Stay up-to-date with the latest benchmarking methodologies and industry standards.- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on benchmarking results and findings.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of benchmarking processes.Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in CPU benchmarking, including SPECint and power measurements.- Strong knowledge of CPU architecture and performance analysis.- Expertise in CoreSight and performance monitoring counters.- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.- Familiarity with benchmarking tools and methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with other benchmarking suites and tools.- Knowledge of power management techniques and tools.- Familiarity with hardware performance counters and profiling tools.
